Hi guys,

I cannot seem to find anything on this surprisingly.

Can anyone suggest what is the best, or at least a decent plugin +widget for wordpress so I can begin to incorporate some banners from affiliate networks or amazon advertising into my side bars/content?

Ideally I'd like something that can use geo-location as my blog appeals worldwide although I am targeting advertising only between US and UK. Now I tried an amazon plugin that supposedly geo targets but it is unreliable and often returns no products to me (a UK user) if I follow a link to the US store.

I envision I will create a list of appropriate stores/products and incorporate the banners into a rotation so I'd have to gather both US and UK sites and let the plugin display the correct one.

Now I'm not sure if this is viable and maybe there is an affiliate network that can handle this instead? Maybe I'm asking too much so if anyone can suggest anything with just some of these features that'd be helpful.

I have tried Reviewazon but it's not really ticking many of the right boxes.

The blog is about diving i.e. scuba diving etc. Does anyone happen to know of any networks that have UK and US diving stores as clients? I'm not a member of any affiliate networks anymore so need to find a few.

Thanks all!

speaking about advertising , go your home why try many amazon plugin in , cj also have plug in , some are very sophisticated such as complete ready all in one plugin not only amazon , ebay ,cj , shopzilla like wp robot ,...there one really complete ,...just like combined all stores in the internet to one page affiliate -

do searching..

Datafeedr it's Monthly Subscription though
Code:
datafeedr.c0m
phpbay.c0m
wpdirect.c0m

Datafeedr is seriously expensive for what it offers.

I suppose if you have over a thousand tiny sites then the $97 plan "might" be worth it. But even valuing my time at $50 an hour (which I do) then I doubt I spend 2 hours a month adding links

(8 new sites, proably 40 minutes a month at the most)

You're saying commission junction has a wordpress plugin? If so that's ideal to start. Thank you.

Don't quite get what you're saying about wp robot. I have that but it's not much use for what I'm hoping to do.

Thanks for your advice though. I'll look into shopzilla too, currently at work on my phone.

Yeah, try "popshops" it works for a few deals.

The basic (which supports up to 4 shop "fronts" is free)

If it works, then the subs start at under $15 a month for the next plan up the ladder, if that works I strongly suggest the next plan up from that ($29.99pm) sign up for all the affiliate deals and get your user id's api id's etc and you're off.

I had a look at popshops yesterday so thank you for the suggesting, I'm not actually wanting to create a store. I did give one a go and it just seemed to whack everything on a page - wasn't liking it but I probably didn't give it enough time.

I've managed to find a few diving shops on Affilliate future however they do not have any kind of application I can set up to rotate the banners of my choosing.

Still on the hunt! Keep the suggestions coming please, I'm checking every one.

if all you're looking to do is rotate banners or put advertising in specific spots, then you can use the Datafeedr Random Ads v2 plugin. You can get it via 'Add New' under Plugins in your wordpress backend.

You may want to consider adding Prosperent to your networks. They have a huge selection of product and supports ads in Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

There's a plugin floating around to add code to WP to make it work like a charm.
