what is the best free website directory submission software?
thanks in advance...

Ultimate Demon is good and GSA Search Engine is good. You can use captcha sniper on 3 of them. GSA has a lot more platforms. But you pay dearly for captcha solving if you go crazy.

I am trialling the demo on GSA SER at the moment and was manually working on the Captcha's... do you find the quality/number of verified links going up when using Captcha Sniper?

I use sliqsubmitter (direct to my money site to speed up google index). For article directories, go for AMR.

CS won't get them all at 100%. I don't know what the success rate is, but I'd guess 50%? STill better than typing or paying.

Good lord. serobot is horrible.
I'll second that. Really terrible. But nice to someone getting value from it. UD is good. Plug in a pop directory list and off you go. GSA is good, though for some reason it seems to eat captchas like there is no tomorrow. Directory submit is not something I would buy a special tool for unless I build a lot of websites. You can only a really submit a site once, and for indexing I've found bookmarks with a bit of content are better.

GSA eats captchas because it is continuously using your keywords to find more sites. I only use it with Captcha Sniper. UD on the hand works only off the sites you give it. So its finite.

GSA in my opinion! I think it has the best features and its the smoothest.

Not correct on both counts:

* GSA SER eats captcha's because the site's it posts to requires captcha solving. You don't have to use keywords to do a search, you can import your own scraped URL's.
* UD's not finite, as you can import your own URL's which you've scraped.

GSA does have the option to keep scraping sites with your keywords. That's what I mean by "continuous"
And while UD does allow you to import as many sites as you want, it does not (that I'm aware of) find new sites on its own.

Sliq is the only free one that I know of. You still need to spend some money for captcha solving. So for a couple of bucks for a couple of thousand links is worth it imho.

SeNukeX is ok. They are doing some pretty cool things and trying to innovate.

That point was not mentioned in your earlier post; GSA SER also has the option to turn keyword scraping off, which is why your previous comment (#12) on it's own (as mentioned) is incorrect.

Also, GSA SER does not eat more captchas just because it's "continuously" scraping. That's a massive generalization. It depends on the platforms, number of threads, speed and your setup.

Here's just one example:
You could scrape URL's (not using GSA), then filter them for only captcha solving sites. Import them into GSA and this would cost more (on average) in captcha solving costs.

The other thing is (back on topic ) is GSA SER is a generic, multi-platform link builder, whereas specific software like GSA Website Directory Submitter are much more efficient.
