What is the best way to use my articles?

Following up on a number of suggestions I have written 10 new 500+ word articles on my niche. Based on my reading it seems like there are a number of things I can do with them. My question, though, is how should I use them to best increase the traffic to my site?

Should I just publish them to Ezine Articles?

Should I just publish them on other article directories like GoArticles or FindArticles?

Should I just place them on Web 2.0 sites like Squidoo and HubPages?

Should I just publish them on my site?

Should I spin them and do all of the above?

Should I do something else entirely?

Also, is it best to publish a batch of articles all at once or spread them out over time?

And if I should spread them out, what's the best interval? Once a week?

I'd really appreciate learning what's worked for you in the past to increase your organic search rankings and bring more traffic to your site. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Why not publish them on your site and after that on the article directories.

Post them to your blog/site...rewrite them....spin them....post to a number of articles directories.

Then social bookmark your blog/site...then bookmark your submissions.

your articles also need a resource box that has a good call to action an two anchor text links...a www.mmmm.c0m link if the article directory allows that. if not link however is allowed.

publish to all the locations plus more if you can find them

I publish 1 to 3 times per week...depending on the niche

I make sure that sites like ezinearticles approves one article before posting another.


More important than all that above is to make sure you do your keyword research correctly.

here is an example I provided to one of our clients this morning

Here is a short example...this page sells nursing uniforms. http://www.bestbuyuniforms.c0m/listing.asp?cid=9

If you were to target an article package for the term "cheap nursing uniforms" and submit it to the various article and bookmarking sites you could easily get and hold the top spots for that term.

"cheap nursing uniforms" gets 20 or 25 searches per day...not much you say....find 100 words like that...I think you see the point Im making. Oh the top organic search result for that term... http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load/school/msg0213490026262.html

The competition for that term is relatively low and if you looked at the number one result you can see how easy it would be to spank that site.

If I had a uniform site I could have all their traffic in 30 days..(hell I might just do it)

Before you just start throwing articles around (which is what I did in the beginning) make a plan and follow it.

There is more than enough info on this forum to build an article marketing empire.

I just wanna emphasize the important of having a good plan and sticking to it.

But why stop there...
Make a video out of your article, add power point slides with your voice over.
Send the video to the video posting sites, i.e. Youtube
Make a podcast out of your article.
Send this to the podcasting sites, i.e. itunes

let the articles to the blogs ,to the formus it is a good way ?

if talking bout article...i'd recommend squidoo.....

is there any particular guide or ebook i should look at? im concerned about all this duplicate content stuff as the ebooks ive been reading are telling me different views on DC.

Obviously i don't want to mess up + get sandboxed. I'm trying to learn all about article marketing because im in the same situation as the thread poster, but im getting confused with all this conflicting information as i think some of it might be outdated. If you guys could recommend an ebook for article marketing, i'd really really appreciate it. thnx

Dude, i think that the best way to use your articles is liek this :

- submit your articles to at least 100 directory and make it a daily process with an average of 20 submisions a day.
- spin your articles and use them to build a Link Wheel (tahts really gonna help) for more infos about link wheels click here

if you do ONLY the two above link building strategies, you should be busy for months ... but if you are looking for something defrent, so good luck !

in my opinion its best to just post to the top 3 article directorys, and just promote the posted articles further with bookmarks and some ******** links, gives more power to your articles and it will keep them in the serps to.

after your articles are up on the directories, spin them and use them in a web 2.0 setup, a linkwheel is one option. promote those web 2.0 pages to.. you can spam them with automated stuff like uwcs, xrummer, pr storm or any other spamming tool.

just take a piece of paper and draw it up. makes it easier to see the whole picture.
and then just stick with it.

the key is to promote the incomming links as well, making them more powerfull.
