I'm not sure if you need residential ips for your vpn ip, if you don't I've had success using the openvpn access server market template for digitalocean. You would have to pay for a vps instance but it's very easy to use. Takes the difficulty out of openvpn and you can download a profile to use for your local client. You would end up with a datacenter ip but I don't know if that's an issue for you.
