Hi Members..
In your experience what is the best time to post on a fan page for maximum response from your fans to get?

Mate, probably after work times like from 7 onwards, but obviously thats only in your own country, if like most people you have world wide fans/friends, then that's a difficult question to answer. Interesting question though.

but don't forget that most people are on Facebook in the morning at work, they may not reply to your post, but they very well may see it first thing in the morning

Depends what you're posting.

If it's a weekend event wednesdays and thursdays are the best. By friday peiople already have plans and on monday and tuesday it's too far away to think about.

Thanks all member for opinion , and thanks specially for partymarty4870

Where I live here in central A the best time would be from 6-7pm. If you're anywhere around my time zone that'd be the best time ime for you to post.

Constant Contact has a nice article about this, which, if you don't want to read it all they say:

Facebook

  • Links posted between 1-4 pm result in highest click-through rates
  • During the week, Facebook traffic peaks between 1-3 pm
  • Links posted before 8 am or after 8 pm are less likely to get shared

Please note, these times are probably EST, so depending on where you live, you should adjust accordingly.

Hope that helps!

Shawn

Depends on the country you're in, but generally between 18:00 and 21:00 wednesdays, thursdays and sundays

Nice link. I would like to add that that depend on what country are you in and who liked your page

just experiment a little bit, and see what works best for your page in your country. The others have give good advice. Encourage your fans to share. That's what's most important, imo.

Look at Your insights.

So firstly target the timezone that you will be hitting.

Now regarding the age

If it's 13-18 years i think first hit should be 7am-8am (before the school) and 10am-11am (if it's summer). Second hit should be around 3pm if it's school time or 6pm-7pm if it's summer and final hit should be around 8pm-10pm (before the sleep time)

If it's 24-30
Then i suppose good time is 7am-9am (before the work or first coffee brake at work), then lunch break and then 7pm-9pm.

If it's 18-24 (student) you should mix those two above.

I think this comes just to common sense ;)

That's really interresting. The link you shared did some research with bit.ly. I forgot that they were offering some time stats.

mate I had to do research on this for a client. It is based on the industry, but almost 100% of the time, it was lunch time! between 12-3pm were perfect. 7pm onwards it goes dead
