    Hello friends,

I am trying to find a better tool/software to hide processes and files on my PC. I need to be able to select individual processes and files, have them not only visibly hidden, but also the processes hidden from the process tray as well.

Def would appreciate any advice. Thank you!

If you need to protect your files, use TrueCrypt. Use the hidden volume option.

Thank you for the response. I don't really need to encrypt the files though. Maybe it would help to explain what I do. To keep a long story very short, I make some decent $$$ with a cutom coded poker bot I have.

When you install poker software such as Full Tilt, Pokerstars, etc. They have the ability to "see" what processes are running, etc.

While I have taken good measures in the past to prevent them seeing my "bot" based upon feedback from others in my circle who use someting similar it seems an additional level of protection may be needed.

It would be great if I could not only encrypt the files, but also hide select processes from showing up in the taskbar and process tray as well.

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

Have you tried running them as a service and not as a process?
