Creativity, blue-sky thinking and knowledge of design is needed to make good logos, not a software. A modular design tool with preloaded icons and fonts is BS.
Learn at least the basics of design, it may help, then take pen & paper and sketch your ideas. If you're done with it, then take a vector software to finalize it; for example Adobe Illustrator if you can afford or alternatively Inkscape (open source).
