    Hi guys,

I used to use Hide my IP a few years ago with no problems, but times change so I was wondering if any of you guys can recommend an alternative. I need the software for Goolge Maps work, so the ability to choose an IP by location is very important.

    Thanks for your time,

    James :)

    I'd suggest proxy.sh or privateinternetaccess.com
Both services care way more about your privacy than HMA.

I'm pretty sure it was Hide My Ass and that's what HMA pro stands for - Hide My Ass Professional.

HMA, HMIP and StrongVPN have all been good to me over the years. Slow as hell, surely mostly blacklisted, but useful if you are trying to fool geolocation.

Thanks BlueSteele. Basically, I need to be able to hide behind an IP for any given city I am creating a map listing for (or as near as possible) and the IP must be clean. Do you do map work?
