How are they free? I've been with them for a while and I've never seen a free plan. But regardless of that, they are awesome in my experience

if you cant find the 5 dollar to get hosting up..make 5 dollars and then get hosting..its a waste of time to deal with free hosting and think about it...its free? I wouldnt want anything I am working on sitting on a free server you dont have any control over

They are way better than free hosting. I was using free hosts when I first started out and it was a real pain. The admins were always checking my site and support is very poor.
However with 10/year hosting, you get complete professional hosting. This is due to having more than one package available which covers their expenses and incomes. Search for hosts that offer ffmpeg hosting for 10/month. They offer more than enough space. And if it gets to the point where you have tens of thousands of visitors coming in a day, then I'm sure you can upgrade to more space. But you don't necessarily have to use that host to stream video.
....but that's just my 2 cents

Byethost is the best free hosting online for me. But you don't have to take my word for it.
My advice:
Purchase one .com domain.
Register as Free Reseller at byethost.
create hundreds of subdomains.
Disable banners attached to them.
Purchase new domains and redirect these domains to your subdomains or Add-On Domains.

When I started, i was also on free hosts, but after a year I figuerd it out, thatthe best choice is to buy me a reseller hosting.
20? per month, I got everything I need. I do not resell, I just host my own sites., and few of my friend`s.
Server is in EU, fast and reliable.
There are some things you can not expect from free hosting....

000webhost is by far the best, but it is having problems installing some wp addons such as hotfeed.
110mb.com sucks, it has no mysql hosting.
and l4rge.com is being retarded on me.
So what are the best FREE hosts out there?
Also, I'm planning to do some autoblogging on those hosts if that matters to you guys.
