What is the best ecommerce platform?

Shopify is best whether it is load balancing, SEO or security. Go for it blindly.

I used to use Magento years ago when it first came out. As others have said, it is very robust, customizable and probably best for seo options. The down side is if you’re a one man show you will spend a lot of time managing it instead of marketing your products. I would tend to lean towards Shopify our another paid service that takes the heavy lifting off your plate and let’s you focus on what your proficiencies are.

If your a good admin but suck at marketing - run the site and pay for marketing

If your good at marketing but suck at site admin - pay for site admin (Shopify or others) and you do the marketing.

Focus on proficiency...

If you don’t have enough money for a quality paid platform, sell on EBay until you do. Then add a store as another sales channel and scale.

I really do not like shopify I prefer to choose others with more possibilities woocomerce

Woocommerce has been go-to longterm but without buying addons it's not as powerful, so can be pretty expensive in the end - but for quality..
