what is the best classified script on 2014?

I would like to know what is the best classified script on 2014?
something which is easy to manage for someone who is not good in programming and is completely new to it

Try classipress out. You will just need to have basic knowledge of php and html to modify it. Or may be, hire someone to do it for you.

Olx is custom made and does not use any ready made scripts. Classified business in the real sense if for the big fish. Small timers don't have money to sustain losses for years until classified business starts making some profit. So, I would advise you to stop dreaming about being the next OLX or Quikr by spending few hundred dollars on a script, copy pasting ads from others sites and sending a few thousand spammy backlinks towards your site.

I have customized classipress for my office. It is pretty much customizable if you know what to do. We have actually built a mini olx/anumex clone using classipress. Depends on your skill level really.

I will add to my previous post. In classified business erecting a site is not the problem. The most difficult thing is to get people posting their ads on your site. That takes a lot of budget to market your business and make people believe why they should not post their ads on market leaders like Olx/Craigslist etc and make an effort to post on your website where they may not get any response because buyers are not hanging on your site.

Please don't think pretty website will make you money in Classified business. Engaged traffic makes in classified business.

OLX when launched used the php script of Geodesic Solutions

Current version looks slightly modified and chances are that they are still using it.

So one can look at this for reliable performance.

Demo presents an easy interface and you should try yourself.

Geodesic Solution classified script is the best, I search for days when I launched my site, eventually I coded my own script, but still have theor script.
BTW if someone is interested I'm selling my geodesic classified script, just PM.

For classifieds scripts in 2014 there are many candidates but I would recommend the following:

1- Open Classifieds: has all needed features and with great documentation (so it's easy for someone who has basic knowledge as well as for advanced users)

2- Classipress just as g0g0l recommended

3- Flynax: has many features, but it is kinda expensive

4- AJ classifieds: has been tried a lot but has poor documentation

Oops... don't sell product over here... There are AJ Classifieds and Flynax is a better solution for creating an online store by own experience. I am using ajclassifieds v4 and I didn't get any poor experience with it till now.

osclass classifieds is not bad for free but Geodesic Solution classified is better for sure

I had used https://jomclassifieds.com which was very user-friendly with responsive classifieds templates. It is an open source classified software which provides Languages pack and plenty more features!!!

People STAY AWAY from Flynax...i am starting to believe it is a one man show!

Support is never "live"...phones don't work...and at e-mails you get reply after many days!
