What is the best bot development application/language

Am thinking of developing bots to automate some of my ideas and current works. Having your costume bot should be awesome, I think it will help protect your ideas against saturation. It will also take longer before your method get patched.

I need some perspective from you guys. I know many of you are experienced developers.

Whats is the best bots development environment with the best learning curve, ubot seems popular, how about others?
which one are you using, whats cool about it?
Which programming language is best for bots? I have some experience with php,
I've seen ppl talking about c and .net and bot?

It seems like most bot development environment are pretty expensive, I want to be sure how to approach this.

I recommend Delphi.
By learning how to use Indy GET/POST and regular expression, you will can easily make some small bots and scraper (...).

Otherwise, you can use ZennoPoster or Ubot to create more powerful bots without much knowledges.

I'm actually looking into using ubot because the whole idea behind it is sick.

It was built with the exact intention of solving this problem. So i would go for it...

Zennoposter. It is similar to Ubot, but way more flexible.

Stick with what you know... Everyone has their personal preference, but if you already know a bit of a language, try coding via that language first and expand once you've made a few bots.

In regards to PHP, I like coding simple or even advanced bots in it (due to portability and low footprint). Using curl for requests is also an easy concept to learn.
For those critics out there, it may not be the most efficient way, but it gets the job done

If you're after something with a low learning curve, then Ubot or ZennoPoster would be your best bet.
