After some time studying SEO, I came to this conclusion:
Google is a robot. It will always rank content written for robots higher than content written for humans.

In short: SEO = Please the Robot + Backlinks + Social Signals. Don't care about humans. For Advertising sites this is fine.
Affiliate + Sales sites must add the human touch to convert and get sales.

What are your thoughts? Did I get it?

If you write content for computers then you'll probably increase bounce rate and send signals of not being good content. I think the main goal is to make content that people want/need while still using your target keywords, getting backlinks, etc. Google wants to see that your content is helpful to users and is getting more intense about it.

That being said, your outlook isn't too far off. Stroking the robot ego helps but not if your content becomes unhelpful to real people at the cost of it.

This used to be the case not now. The way google looks at your content now is whether will this be relevant to someone who is looking for "..." Furthermore, does it cover the topic in depth? Is it original content? Do the keywords you're using in the content carry the searcher's intent and more?
I wouldn't use social signals anymore either, they work for indexing purposes sometimes but they have no effect on your site.
Quality backlinks are very important and so is the way you need to build them.

SEO is the art of delivering ROI from the SERP.

It is that simple, you can do anything you like at all, and if you deliver ROI from SERP traffic, you are doing SEO.

How can Google know my Bounce Rate?

Don't care about humans.

I think it's quite the contrary

The way I see it, 99% of their signals today come from tracking humans.

So much so, when the pandemic started, their local results went crazy, cuz nobody was checking into shops, hotels, flights, etc

Same thing on the web IMO

SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” In simple terms, it means the process of improving your site to increase its visibility when people search for products or services related to your business in Google, Bing, and other search engines. The better visibility your pages have in search results, the more likely you are to garner attention and attract prospective and existing customers to your business.

How can Google know my Bounce Rate?
If someone searched on Google for a keyword and your website is ranking in the first page and the user clicks your website and after checking your site he clicks the back button going back to Google, it tells Google that the person searching on Google didn't find the answer he was looking for in your website. This means your Bounce rate will increase and Google will penalize you.

Don't we need social signals to "justify" backlinks though? Or is that a myth?

for a beginner, it is growing your website's traffic from organic search results and involves keyword research, content creation, link building, etc.

Content is complicated. You have to try to implement a lot of keys for robots and at the same time understand what the client would like from the content to answer the most common questions.

I recommend sticking to answering the question in the content rather than describing it. What content best describes a page for selling engines?

1
What makes of car would this type of engine fit?
It's mostly used there then there, etc.
How to order it?
How to deliver?
etc.

XXX series engines: When did they start using
After the steam engines, the XXX engines began to be used

In essence, the text with the same number of keys, but google robot is smart enough to understand the essence of content with additional words and their other algorithms, so think about what the buyer enters this query, for the history of the engine or to buy and clarify the details. Sometimes the client himself did not know about some of the details that I write, it helps conversion by the way, but that's another story:)

is about optimization and providing relevant content and SEO is not only about robots, backlinks, remember that you have whitehat SEO and it works too.

You for it wrong. Google is number one search engine because it really works for real people and not robots.
