Hello, lately I've been regularly using an X account since 2021. I usually just log into X and use Grok AI for work, sometimes posting videos or comments, but suddenly my account was reported for violating the rules.
They sent me an email with very general content.

Specifically, it stated:

"Violation of our policy prohibiting dishonest conduct." , I appealed and it seems like only their bot responded that

Hello,Your account has been suspended due to repeated or multiple violations of X's Rules:

This account will not be restored. This case will be closed and we will no longer follow up on replies.

Thank you,X

I see that many people are in the same situation as me. This is terrible, I really don't understand how I violated the rules. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid similar situations in the future?, Thanks

The dishonest conduct thing is super vague. Most of the time it's the account getting flagged by their system. common triggers: logging in from different ips too often, vpn hopping, or suddenly using AI tools a lot (even grok)

Honestly, X has been super glitchy and mass-banning accounts for no reason lately, so it’s likely just their trashy automated moderation system acting up again. Since their support is basically nonexistent, you’re better off just starting a fresh account and keeping your activity super low-key for the first few weeks to avoid triggering their bots

That's exactly what happened to me. I had an account that I used separately from my personal one just to view certain content, and I only shared, liked, and sometimes commented. I didn't post anything. And a week ago, I also received that message with no right to appeal or anything. I felt very angry because it was an account that I've been using normally for several years. Now I see that I'm not the only one.

Well, in my case I did use a VPN because until recently it was blocked in my country (Venezuela). After they took away the dictator, it was only recently unblocked and now people can access it normally.

I dont know what Musk is doing
Terrible !! he allows stupid things and most legit users get banned

X suspensions are messy now and bots flag a lot by mistake. If you post links or repetitive actions it can trigger dishonest behavior flags fast.

Best way is keep activity normal and avoid automation patterns.

X is shifting a lot now with new features and changes it's trying to stay fresh but some people feel its getting messier with ads and algorithms getting weirder

From my experience it's related to VPNs. I've had multiple accounts getting blocked lately by that BS.

X is mass banning accounts lately. It's mostly due to footprints or content. You can't do anything about it as they let AI handle everything.

Been there, man. As a newbie myself, I’ve noticed accounts getting hit after stuff that looks “weird” to the bot—login from different IPs, VPN hopping, or heavy AI tool use. It feels like X's moderation is a bit all over the place lately. I’m just trying to slow down and keep engagement steady for a while. Anyone else seeing the same pattern?

Update: The account is no longer suspended, but they don't notify me of anything. Suddenly, I opened the application and discovered that it was no longer suspended. Several accounts are gradually being restored, but users have to log into their accounts and check, since they don't notify by email or anything.

To avoid this in the future:
  1. Don’t use third-party bots/tools
  2. Keep login location/device consistent
  3. Avoid spammy or repetitive activity
  4. Enable 2FA and verify your account
  5. Use the account in a more “human” pattern (natural pacing, varied actions

I confused what going on X, My 11 year old X account got suspended without any noticed, I have requested to restore, But no response from X.
Very bad support system of X.

i see x is blocking random account without any notice.
My account was neat and clean, there was no spam and no policy violation. They banned my account without any notice.

It's highly likely that the VPN and IP hopping have caused this as your network calls might have looked "suspicious" to their automated system.

Sometimes automated system make mistakes, especially if activity patterns look unusual. Best way to avoid it is to keep usage natural, avoid repetitive actions, and secure the account properly. Sadly, appeals can be difficult once a final decision is made.

Check this out !
