I was able to look up almost any other big company's Ein with google,(like wal-mart for example/redacted, apparently that one is incorrect) but because so many people were complaining about paypal requiring users to provide their own Ein any mention of paypal's own number has been buried. On paypals website it says to go to history>tax documents tab to find 1099 forms, but it is blank because I didn't use paypal in 2013 and its not showing prior years tax documents for some reason. I am trying to file an amended return and it requires their Ein so I was wondering if you guys could give it to me from your 1099-k or 1099-misc form. Also I didn't make the $20k 200 trans cut off to receive a 1099-k, but they didn't send a 1099-misc by mail either and I can't access the info I need on their site as well.
All the info I need atm is their Ein the rest was just to give some backstory in case anyone wanted it.
*Update - I found a site that has a database of businesses Ein and I got a number from it. I would like for someone to message me paypas ein on their 1099 forms so I can confirm if this is the correct number. As I looked up walmarts Ein and it was an old one that does not match the current one on my gf's W-2 she just got from them. Thanks you!
