Right now it’s messed up links get indexed looks fine after few hours it’s gone, and then it comes back and gone again so wait for few days before it becomes normal again

It has indexed 50 pages per day for a month now. It hasn’t been just last couple of days.

I'm having similar problems. I have 30k pages waiting to be indexed. I had 100k that I removed and set as 410 but Google just keeps crawling the 410 pages and ignoring the new 30k pages in the sitemap. For over 3 weeks now...

it seems to take as little as 4 days and up to 6 months for a site to be crawled by Google and attribute authority to the domain. When you publish a new blog post, site page, or website in general, there are many factors that determine how quickly it will be indexed by Google.

Is the recent bug actually slowing crawl rates / crawl budget? Is it just crawling but dropping pages out of its index?

It crawls and indexes but the indexed page ghosts out of the searches after few days.

its better slow but safe,, few months ago i create some site with around 300k content each site, im using indexing service to index 1k post each day, but a week later all my site deindexed ,
a day hardwork and a few bucks gone just like that

using generated content means quantity over quality, create more site and review 2-3 months later which one have a better performance

There are lots of hints there on the coverage section.
Also watch your server logs for googlebot activity, is googlebot able to suck in 100 pages every second or just one or two? This makes all the difference.
