I am a newbie to link building, and i was wondering what are ****************/nofollow links? and what is the difference between them?

Why did you even bother joining here if you had no idea what nofollow links were?

Well becouse of alot of spam Google invented Do follow and no follow links.
When there is a do-follow link Google will follow it and index the page.
When it is a no-follow it will not follow it and not index the page

Google still follows them and it will still index your site through them it just doesn't pass link juice.
