I have noticed in a lot of your responses to site evaluations that it is very difficult to place a value without monetizing the site. I have a tumblr blog using custom domain luxecafe.info some stats:

33,000 monthly visits, 100,000 pageviews a month. 250,000 notes a month (reblogs/likes), 22,600 followers and i follow zero. I have used it for various things, mainly to drive traffic elsewhere. I have posted links to a friends instagram on 200 posts this past week and got her over 300 new followers, et al.

I am wanting to sell the account (i know i know, against tumblr TOS, but it happens all the time). I have had some of my followers interested but I have no idea what to ask them as far as price goes since I have never advertised on it, ever.

Any insight?

Question about site flipping: When you buy sites with intention to sell, what are the areas that need most work? Is it SEO, desing or something else. Where do you add most value to the website before flipping?

Depends how consistent the revenue is and whether it's growing or not. Reliance on YT won't help here. I'd expect in the region of $15-20k based on the information given.

Not had much experience with Facebook pages to be honest. Wouldn't want to guess. I would need a lot more information to be able to value the site.

No idea to be honest. I'd imagine there is a market for something like this - just not to clients I would know.

This isn't relevant to the thread, but I tend to buy sites where my skills (or my team) can add most value. Skills will vary from person to person so there's no right or wrong answer here.

meathead1234 I have a 2.5 month old Adsense site that cleared $500 in 30 days...it's making about $20 a day now. The thing is, I'm having a hell of a time selling it due to the niche and because it's a pretty thin site. Also, it's a trademarked domain, but I haven't heard of anybody getting a cease and desist letter for this trademark. If you're still helping people sell sites, do you think you could PM me? Traffic : average 50-100 UV a day when nothing is posted. When new posts are added traffic can spike up to 1000 UV a day. You can update it every day if you have time.

Earnings : 100-200$ from upload sites ( premium sales/recurring income, which means you can scale up every month) + $100+ from CPA ( banners, popunders etc ) + A couple of sales from the Amazon Emusic Store added on the site but nothing much.

You have all kind of possibilities with this site, you can easily build a subscribers list and send music related offers that will convert well.

I already have added the site on Flippa but i have not listed it yet, i wanted your opinion first and how can i get max of this site. I just dont have the time to run this site myself anymore.

It would be a little hard to sell at this stage - it's quite a small site, it's not very old and it has potential trademark issues. I would expect the best option would be to keep it for another 3 months and then rethink selling.

You should probably look to get $3-4k. It's hard to give a precise value for something this small but I think that would be a fair ballpark.

I have 2 general topic sites and these sites are earning since October
One site has earning of around $27k since October (October+Nov+Dec till date)and the 2nd site has earnings around $13k since October (October+Nov+Dec till date)
Adsense is the only earning method used on these two sites and Google organic search is the main traffic source.
Age for both the site is around a year.

How much can the sites fetch if sold?
