Have an 8months old adsense site, in health niche with about 150pages of unique content.
Brings in about 60-70k uniques/month 99% traffic from Search Engines / and for past 5months has had stable earnings of around $2000-$2300/month from adsense.
How much u think I could get for something like that in best case?

I have a movie, tv, ebook, game releases download niche website,
alive for 3 months
automatic updated
May 2013 45k pageload, 13k Unique
traffic from reviews, forums, and ~25% from google
~2500 users, 20-30 users/day added.
~500 USD/m for vip subscription.
~20-30 USD/m expense
any idea for the value?

Hi. Just wanted to see what my domain may be worth. I have a domain thats 4 years old. I use it to direct link to an affliate offer I promote. It's earned $4000 so far this year, and has earned good money each year I've had it. In may alone It's had 4500 visitors. I just wanted an idea if this kind of site could sell, and if so how much could it be worth. Thanks in advance for the answer!!!

What do you need to know about the history?

Mainly how long it has been earning at that level for and what sort of work is required to maintain it.

Sounds like a solid site. Probably $30k if you listed publicly, maybe more through a broker. Would be happy to take a deeper look if you PM me details.

Download sites are hard to sell.

Depends how sustainable the traffic sourcees are, but you'd probably expect to get around 1.5x yearly earnings for a domain like that.

can i post my website link here?
i THINK it will be consider as self promotion.

Why do you need to post the link? I'm only giving approximate valuations and I wouldn't recommending posting URLs publicly anyway.

I have a health and beauty related website.
It has strong PR 4. It is 12 years old.
High DA and PA.
I monetize it by promoting health and beauty product via some affiliate network and also amazon.
My earnings per month is around $800-$1100
How much you think I can sell it?

This is an interesting thread-

What would my site be worth?

Its done over $50,000 since August, won multiple awards from leading blogs in the industry, has a bunch of high quality content and is currently getting 15-20k unique per month.

Full details of earnings & traffic at http://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/income-reports/

Not likely I will ever ever sell it - but interesting to see what value people place on things.

I would imagine around $20k - depends on a few things but sounds like it has some solid age behind it.

I read your blog from time to time and follow you on Twitter so quite familiar with your site :)

Would be difficult to sell as it's so personalised. If you wanted to get to a stage where it was sellable, you'd want to rebrand so your name isn't the domain/brand. The content is also all written/generated by you (to a high standard) which wouldn't be easy to outsource/replicate making it less desirable for a buyer.

Blogs are always difficult to sell (as they are almost always branded around a single person) so the best way to go is build a brand that is not you but the blog itself and then put together a system for generating content that can be done by writers/editors (think problogger.net). The main issue with your niche (SEO) is it's very dynamic so content written today might not be relevant in 12 months time - this has a big effect on multiples and means sites in the niche need to be constantly updated to remain relevant.

Hey Meathead. I have a urban tube site (think WorldStarHipHop.com) doing about 1K unique visitors per day. Only a PR 2 and earns about $100 per month. I think the value is in the application itself though as well as the data. The site is 100% on autopilot, custom built and designed by me. No manual effort needed at all and publishes content daily (scraped from other sites). I have 3 Twitter accounts on autopilot promoting the videos and gaining followers daily (via custom search & follow scripts I created). The Twitter accounts have 30K - 50K followers each. Was thinking about putting it on Flippa but wanted to know if I should put in more work first. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Have an ecommerce site that currently has 13,000+ uniques a month. At our best we did about $30k/month. No longer have suppliers for the products, so not sure what can be done with this site now. Pulled in about 80k since January this year. Have a shitload of email addresses with matching home addresses and phone numbers also from the sales. Need some quick cash and not sure what to do with this domain. Thanks in advance.

Wise words thank you :)

I would never sell it - just wondering ^^

Although there are always those corporate idiots that like spending lots of money on stuff and then trashing it

Hard to value small sites, but probably $2k or so on Flippa.

Without a supplier it would be difficult to sell. If you have a lot of useful industry data you could approach a competitor and see if they are interested in buying it all? If not, see if you can find relevant affiliate products (Amazon etc.) as some revenue is better than no revenue.

Maybe so, but I can't think of many examples of "corporate idiots" buying personalised blogs. They tend to overpay for rapidly growing technologies, not small blogs, unfortunately :)

Hey meathead1234 It is possible to sell blogger blog?

Probably not.

Two year old domain in a Health niche.

200-250$ Average per day from CJ and Adsense.

Depends on a lot of factors (drop me a PM if you want me to have a better look in private). If the earnings are stable and the traffic sources are stable (e.g. no BH link profile) then we're currently seeing multiples around 1.5-2x yearly net income.
