I've got a site that is currently ranking #1 for a search that gets around 10k searches a month.

Now, previously when it was first ranked, it was making around $15 a day just from adsense, so around $600 month. That was when I knew shit though, I'm expecting soon to hit $20/day just from adsense alone, and its a product keyword so it can also be monetized by amazon (which I've had success with)

This domain is around 2 weeks old, but the previous domain (that was making $15+/day) is now being 301 redirected to this new domain that's ranking 1. // why I did this was because the new domain was the EMD of the kw. (pm me if u want the real example)

I will obviously be selling both domains, or just the new one and I'll continue to 301 redirect my backlinks etc to the new domain.

Daily visitors is anywhere between 500-1000 UV's.

I own a car forum centered around a specific make & model. The site's 8 years old and has been profitable in its current form since 2005. About 10,000 total members since 2005 with ~1900 active in the past 6 months. I had 5.5m pageviews in 2011 and I'd guess around 3-4k UV a month. Gross revenue in 2011 was $4,400 and I expect revenue to continue to grow into 2012. Expenses are fixed at $63/mo and include hosting and a server manager that handles any & all technical issues.

Revenue is a mix of Adsense, VigLink, and subscriptions for forum perks. VigLink is new and has been growing well (from $9 in the first month to $138 last month). Net profit past 6 months:
-Jan 2012: $370
-Dec 2011: $490
-Nov 2011: $419
-Oct 2011: $347
-Sept 2011: $440
-Aug 2011: $392

I've just recently (like, yesterday) installed Google Analytics to get a better idea of my traffic since I didn't have any hard stats before. It shows traffic as: ~60% direct, ~25% search, ~15% referral.

A group of stand-up moderators and a responsive server manager makes it pretty low-maintenance. I'm thinking of putting it up on Flippa with a $10k reserve, and was wondering if that's a reasonable approach.

I'd also be interested in hearing your sales pitch in terms of using a broker. If I can get a price where it'd make sense to walk away from the passive income, I'm ready to sell.

Thanks Meathead! I recently asked for your opinion on an Amazon affiliate review site that's making about $200 per month. You'd value this at about 2k, but for the previous few adsense sites, making a little less than mine, you'd value them at 3-4k.

Is there a reason for this? Are Adsense sites just more popular than Amazon?

I'm only giving an estimate - realistically, under $10k, there's no "set" multiple, they vary depending how well an auction does. Generally speaking, Adsense sites are more popular than Amazon sites, though.

Depends how often you post articles. If you have to do it regularly, then $1k. If never, then $2k or around that.

Forums sell well, I can't give a value without seeing it, though. I have a lot of active forum buyers.

Advantages of using a broker: contacts, save time, get more money, far higher success rate, expert advice etc. etc.

Flippa can work, but with forums it's best to go direct to the bigger buyers.

- Making about $20/day with adsense and $40-50 a day with an affiliate network (so combined $60-70/day, been making this for about a month since I hit #1)
- EMD domain ranking #1 for 3600 searches/month keyword, getting about 1200 uniques a month
- Competition is pretty low, not super low though, but site doesn't have many links
- Site only has 1 content page (main page) and contact and privacy policy pages
- Makes money on autopilot, the new owner would just have to apply to a certain affiliate network (multiple networks here have a suitable campaign) and just change the adsense and affiliate codes/links. Niche converts well.

I make about 5-6K on a Facebook Fan selling website. About the same amount on a Twitter Follower selling website. I put $ 250 in PPC and saw more increase in sales... Unfortunately, need to be on the road for a few months and have to sell both sites

They are both making 5K+/mo for the past 6-7 months now... I have listed it on Flippa , posted traffic and got the tools so buyer operates them. ... any luck where I can have this bad boy sold before I leave the country ?

I want to sign NDA and legal ocntract so we are both safe... I don't want to deal with people that want to ask questions non stop and go nowhere. I want to talk to serious buyers.. where can I reach out ? What could the minimal value of both be ? I don't want them to die !

Would need more info to give you a valuation. Flippa should give you a good idea though, bidding tends to be pretty close to the "real" value.

Hey , i own a micro niche site that i am thinking to sell and need your opinion basically if you could give me some average price for it that it would sell on flippa or here maybe.Now let me give you some more information regarding the mns.
It contains 4x400 words articles , contact us and privacy policy page and it is an exact match domain for the 3 keywords that it is ranked.
Some plugins that are installed , •All in one [FONT=&quot]SEO[/FONT] plugin , Google XML sitemap , Max Ping Optimizer , Google Adsense Plugin , SEO Smart Links.
The mns is about 3 months old , and when it was created there was a 23000+ backlinks blast , since then it ranked on 1st page on google position #5 , i havent done any extra work seo at all and it was earning from goolge adsense ads.CPC is over 1$ , low competition.With a little work it can easily rank on #1 position.For the #5 position last 3 months i have earned 16.20euro.

- Getting 25,000 to 30,000 visitors per month (93% new visitors)
- Around 80% visits are from Search Engine (Google)
- 12% traffic from referring sites and remaining 8% is direct
- Site have PR 4
- Site niche is related to fun and entertainment
- Have not work on it for around 6 months but still getting $100 from Adsense in two months
- Also earning some more from it by selling textlinks
- Currently site have 350+ pages
- Around 9 keywords are on 1st rank and uncountable in Top 10s
