What is my site worth? Official thread!

I have a website which is making $300-$400 per month from last 3-4 month on auto pilot. (Affiliate Marketing through ClickBank)

site age is 7-8 month

All traffic is organic from search engines.

My two major keywords are ranking on the first page of Google.

Most of the Traffic and Sale is from USA.

How much this website worth ?? any idea?

I'm considering selling my website which is related to a certain video game and offering services for it. It is completely hands off with only a few hours of work required to manage customer emails, and pay the employees weekly. Everything is automated with a custom php backend, order creation, tracking, completion and delivery of digital goods. It is definitely legal to sell, but is frowned upon by the game publisher. (there have been no lawsuits ect every by this company against any such business)

2014 Sales 190,000 Gross, 103,000 Net
Around 4,000-6000 uniques per month

All income and traffic is completely verifiable as payments were all through PayPal.

2015, is on track for just over half of that due to problems with sourcing stock that have been resolved now with a new supplier.

I believe we've spoken privately on this.

i still make money with infolinks from this site but not much.
already submit domain for appraisal on flippa, just curious to know domain worth.

It's not really worth much.

Bit early to sell, I always advise people to wait until they have a year of history. Right now it's probably worth $6-8k based on the info above.

Hey guys, I just wondering if someone could appraise my domain. I cannot decide if I have something worth registration fee or a little bit more. Domain name: 100-hits (dot) com. Just blank domain, with no spammy history. Picked up expired.

What about just domain names? How much are these worth?

1. Mealreservations.com
2. softwareadvertisement.com
3. dentallaws.com
4. localtownhouses.com
5. physicaldisorder.com

None of these domains are worth much at all.

I'm looking at selling my entire (adult niche/camming) business I started back in 2010, making it about 5 years old. Based in California. Models world-wide. Most of them in California.

Adult business guide book (not written by us, but well done), 2257's included, past/current/potential model client database, transfer of California LLC, financial/tax documents, several domains... WHOLE SHABANG!

Brief Overview:
We?re a cam model recruiting company. We get lots of applicants from word of mouth and google. We got TONS of applicants from CL but since I?m not Jr. VIP, I had to do this manually. Wish I could have paid for some CL poster to do this instead (HINT HINT). Our blogging efforts worked well but need refreshing. We recruit and manage the models, and have them sign under various studio accounts. When a model does really well, we create content with them, which increases profit on both ends.

Camming Revenue-
Average ~$30k/yr or $2,500/mo overall.
Current Average: ~$1,400/mo
Last year Average: ~$1,500/mo
Best year Average: ~$5,000/mo

Main source of revenue is from current models that we take a percentage from. Many models come and go during the year. Handful of them stay, another handful return when their bills need to be paid after some shopping.

Running costs are extremely low considered the business is on auto-pilot. Though, because I've been running the company on auto-pilot for the last 1-2 years, there is a noticeable loss in revenue. Keeping up with models, advertising, and blogging, is key... in which I did not have time for. If it make sense, I?m in my early 20?s, and had a full-time job and school. I started this young. Wish I didn?t have to sell, but its time to move on.

Note: My best year was when I did a physical studio. Which I will try to document for the new owner to reproduce. Optionally, we'll include 12x laptops for new owner to get started.

Blog Revenue-
Average $50-100/mo

Content Revenue-
We dabbled in content production, which we'll pass the licenses onto the new owner. High quality USA produced content by famous director. We haven't licensed out to tube sites and on-demand sites yet, only foreign on-demand and hotel distributions. Which those contracts have ended, and new owner can have a fresh-start.
(This is what fucked the company over, spent lots of money and didn't get much back, I was too in-experienced, I hired a manager that stole money from me.)

Optionally:
If the evaluation is good, I will be including DJI Phantom Drone with Gimbal (Worth $500+) and 12x Laptops (Worth over $2,000 on ebay) to help the new owner film new content and get a kickstart in running a studio.

Would love to get an evaluation on my business. I will be posting on GFY and got approval for Flippa, but I need to organize all the information before its ready to be sold.

Hello meathead,

I have a website in education niche. Via adsense it was earning nothing at all, but since last month I have began to monetize it with campusexplorer affiliate program.
It has 2.9K sessions, 2.5K users, 70% US/CA/UK traffic at average.
99% of the traffic is organinc.
It earned $60 this month and $142 previous month (Unreconciled revenue yet). It is safe to assume, that it will average $100 per month minimum.

For how much can I flip it for?

The website is 1 year old.

I don't want to reveal the domain name until it is sold on Flippa, is it possible?

Hello

I have a website with hacks/cheats niche with about 60 posts on it. Alexa rank is 2.7 mil, MozRank - 3.6 and it's 3 months old. In March I had 21.500 unique visitors, in April 6400 and in May 6700 so far. ~85% are landing via YouTube and ~15% from search engines. Now, the differences between the months is because, I've uploaded a lot more in March (on youtube) than in April or May. My revenues (i am using PPI) are 500$ in March, 150$ in April and 150$ in May - so far. I can also show my method for the traffic and the niches that I have (you need only 2-3 hours per day for that). If anyone can tell me how much would my site worth I would be interested to sell it.

Thank you

Sorry, but I don't know enough about the adult space to give you anything accurate.

Wait until you have at least 6 months of earnings before selling.

Too young to sell. Ideally you shouldn't sell a site less than a year old - just not worth it.

Hi, I'm not actually selling, but I just want to make sure that I'm not delusional. I think that this site is worth $25k, but I really can't be sure.

Age: 12 months

Average revenue in the past 12 months is probably about $1000, but it has reached its peak in the last 3-4 months. It's making $2.5k/month now (2k+ for the past 4 months). November and January have 2x more searches than May (according to Adwords Keyword Planner), and December has 3x more searches for this niche. So it's safe to say that with the same positions in SERPs, $2000/month is the minimum.

Main traffic source: Organic

Brief overview: Clean link profile, 600 UV per day, about 60 articles published, themes and plugins worth $150 (probably doesn't matter).

Monetization method: Amazon affiliate. 7.5% commission level can be reached with this site alone, but someone with a few of those sites could reach 8.5%.

My main question is how long should this site be at its peak ($2.5k per month), so I could value it at $25k?

It's worth more than $25k. If you can maintain at least 3 months at $2.5k/mo then I expect [my company] could sell it for around $60k.

Would need to see more but in the $20-30k range based on that.

Haemoglobin.org worth much?

Couple sites are selling the .net for $xx,xxx but I'm not believing that.

https://ahrefs.com/site-explorer/overview/subdomains?target=haemoglobin.org

Got a few good links, *shrug*. Was thinking of giving away but wanted to make sure it wasn't a goldmine first.

Not worth much, no. There's a big difference between advertising a domain for sale at a certain price and actually selling it... :)

meathead, I've read through a few of your posts and like how you value the sites. I'm not selling my site but just wanted to know what its worth. Its a 15 month old ecommerce business (recently incorporated) that's pulling in 15k - 30k per month. First year it made 125k in revenue. So far this year its made 125k in sales... so in 6 months I made as much as I did in 9 months (started the site in March 2014)

This year I'm anticipating to make 250k - 300k in sales and the site is growing in sales and traffic steadily. My profit margin on each sale is between 10% - 50%, so 30% on average (it's probably more than that but 30% is a safe estimate)

again not selling the site but just wondering how much its worth?

Depends on a number of factors. It's relatively easy for me to value sites under $100k on here with little information as buyers at that level tend to be less price sensitive.

On the higher end, I would need to look at more information. Feel free to PM if you want me to take a look.
