Link Bait refers to that content of website that has a high linking ability. In other words, it is a kind of attractive feature of a website, whether it is written content, image, software, widgets, etc which causes other websites to link back to the site containing it.

I know. We spend our days spinning text and spamming forums (well I do anyway), it's kinda obvious. It might be well spun, but you don't even get a clickable link in your signature after 50 posts!!! So why bother. Are you going to spam BHW and then pay $97 for your clickable link? I don't think so. Go to warrior forum. You get your clickable link after 0 posts!

Link bait is something different content and refers to a placement on a website for the strict purpose of tempting other web pages to link to that website. Link baiting is a viral marketing form, and can be extremely powerful, as it draws traffic to a website without keyword searches or specific searches for that web page.
