What is keyword competition?

Hey Guys,

Yes, Now we measuring competition from semrush and many more analysis tools, i am stuck at a point while analyzing my key word "ppc Services" below you can see the result where we have found (search volume, no.of results, cpc, competition), so i just want to know that what is meaning of 0.67 in competition, does it mean that it is too competitive and take much time to rank.
According to this result how much the keyword would be taking to rank.
well the keyword difficulty for this keyword is just 12.

Can you please help me to understand the result and keywords competition and time measurement of keyword ranking in google.

CPC (or Cost-Per-Click) is the average bid, the average cost, you pay to Google when someone clicked on your ad. The more competition, the higher your bid needs to be in order for your ad to show up at all.
If you are doing paid advertise.

If it's organic ranking it depends on more factors. Check how many backins your competitor have, and his DA/TF
Question is, which tool you are using to check KW competition? Ahrefs is the best.

I mean, let's not make fun of a noob. He asked a reasonable question. What does the competition value translate to in terms of actual effort, difficulty, money investment etc.
 
Keyword competition is the measure of how difficult it will be to rank for a particular keyword. The competition for a keyword can vary depending on how popular the keyword is and industry competition.
 
First of all KW completion will be very in different tools like SEMrush are less than 60 has count less competitive and with KWfinder it's count less than 30 has less competitive, when you target keyword to run your PPC add it consider lot's of SEO fact that you need to research like KC/KD or DA/TF KW CPC with search volume with competitor analysis that's been made easy to determine which keyword you target with lot's of LSI keyword.
