a guy approached me with his web 2.0 service. He gave me few sample, then I copied the first paragraph and google it. The site isn't show up like I expected. He claimed the site is indexed, he then ask me to check like this site:www dot ff dot com in google. Hmm, I wonder why don't the post indexed instead of the homepage. So what do u think of his service? worth buying?

Site:domain.com is the correct way to check indexed... But on doing it you must see all pages of the Web 2.0 property that are indexed in Google.

May be the Post is new and yet to get indexed in Google.

Well than that should be indexed... Just Search the actual url of the post in google and see if indexed...

Use this and see if it will bring up any result. If it doesn't, it means the web 2.0 isn't indexed.

It's not unusual for a web 2.0 blog to exist for 5 months without being indexed if the web 2.0 platform is not popular or doesn't have that much authority. Some web 2.0 blogs need help with indexing, while some don't.

For example, my wordpress.com blogs get indexed in 3 days without building any links or adding them to GWT.
