So i have been using CJ for a long time and i didn't have any kind of problem but recently i think CJ is trying to scam affiliates from their commission!

My balance is decreasing like literally! and worst of all i know there is an inactivity thing like $10 but i am getting sale in every month.

Can anyone explain to me what is happening?

I don't think so - it has been great service so far OP. Anyone has same issue like OP?

I solved the problem. Apparently 1and1 was stealing my money that they paid in commission after every 3 or 4 days.

I lost 15 dollars in total and i hate 1and1 now. Ended the contract and everything is fine now.

thank you for your reply.

What's inactivity fee $10? Can someone explain?

If you don't sale anything for 3 months or don't get any kind of lead then your accounts get charged with $10 per month till the sale or the account's balance reaching Zero.

So it mean if you have no sell for last 3 month, CJ will count you as inactive member and as an inactive you have to pay US$10.

WTH!
I don't see any update about their 'inactivity fee' thing. Is it applied to all accounts? immediately?

That's exactly why I don't use CJ. LinkShare is a better company without the stilling of your hard earned commissions.

this is nothing new, it has been in for years

I never had any problems with CJ

Not even shaving problems? Do you promote them on a high profile website? I feel like unless we have a high profile website, 500+ CJ sales/month consistently or so, the advertisers are going to shave from our earnings thinking we are noobs.

Many advertisers do look upon members like that but not all of them. Like some of them are grateful for sales :)

@anotherone The inactivity fees had been a thing for many years i think.

So were you able to do anything about that? What scammers!

Same with me. I found sale drop about 2 months ago. I give my aff link to my friend, he buy product to test. But I didn't count for that sale. Don't know why. My network is Godaddy

I had no idea about the $10 fee this is quite disappointing. I've been promoting CJ for over a decade now and they are the worst of the big networks for me. When I started I could earn 4 figures a month on a regular basis and over time the conversion rate with affiliate programs on that network has gone down significantly. It makes me wonder if some of the merchants are not properly reporting sales especially in the payday loan category. There is no way they could convert that bad.

I have not seen the same level of problem with merchants in the travel industry, they still seem to convert at a decent rate. (I promote attraction passes).

It makes me sick with affiliate networks treat affiliates like garbage. With any program I have some years where I will earn $0, and other years 5 figures, it all is dependent on search engines. If you are that desperate for cash that you will rip us off I will take my business elsewhere.

In the past I made an effort to contact the rep in charge of the affiliate program personally through email. When you are able to get an advertiser that does this and set up some communication there are no problems with shaving and they are quite grateful for your assistance.

I have seen the $10 off each month first hand. In the last year I have not been managing my websites properly, just renewing the hosting and domain names. One made $30 in commissions through a lead. However, nothing happened after that and my payout threshold is $50. So, each month $10 was taken off. But when you get to $0 they don't take anymore. It is in the terms and conditions that everyone signs when becoming a partner.
