I have seen sites use it, not sure those are adsense ads or ads from other big networks. as far as I know it’s safe, but you’ll need good traffic to earn from them

I don't think there is a better option than adsense (yeah maybe ezoic too) for that amount of traffic. In addition to them, you can try affiliate or cpa offers to raise your income, ofc if they're suitable to your articles/website.

No. I got multiple websites. I don't want to put them on same adsense account.
That thread is BS, ezoic is simply doing google adsense traffic arbitrage.

I don't know an Ezoic alternative for sites with that traffic. I am below 10k when I joined Ezoic Access Now. I would be interested to know what others have to say based on their experience.

I think that unfortunately for less than 10,000 monthly visits there is nothing better than Adsense or Ezoic. I'm on Ezoic and the sites become slow even if I try my best to improve the speed. Adsense pays little so for the moment I'm still with ezoic but I think that when I reach 50,000 (hopefully) I will go to mediavine which they say pays very well.
