What is everyone using to find keywords now that the G keyword tool is good? What is most accurate and shows monthly searches? Paid and free dont care.

Longtailpro and google's keyword planner. Their "related keywords" is very helpful and helps me expand my keyword list even more.

I've been using term explorer and really like it. Pulls lots of great stuff from a few seeds.

I struggle to use Google keyword tool, the monthly search data doesn't add up at all. I would love to hear some recommendations as well.

iMacros + My left hand + My right hand + My brain.

UNF is a good software for mining keywords, but NOT checking difficulty.
MS is CRAP for mining keywords, and is not great (but not crap) for checking difficulty
LTP is kinda crappy in general

Best way of checking difficulty:

Paid:
SpyFu.com
Moz.com

Free:
Keywordrevealer.com

Using all the above I mined 200 million keywords, giving me ~30k low difficulty keywords all with 1000+ searches. Some more than 90k

My brain and various tools. Google Trends really helps with some of the research, adwords for click value checking, etc
