What is effective anymore?

I began starting to work in IM a few months ago, and I had little to no success. I recently caught up with things here on the forums and a lot has changed. I read around a bit and I'm starting to see that Adsense sites don't seem like they're worth it anymore. I see people who have 1st page rankings and then some guy blasts their sites with crappy links and they lose it all.

I'm looking to get back into things; but not with adsense and MNS. It just doesn't seem worth it for the time and effort as you can lose it all so quickly.

What is effective anymore? What kind of methods still work?

Adsense??? That idea is dead long time ago. Build your own sites and start to SEO real businesses and make money that way. My clients get spammed from SEO experts located in India everyday . That means there is a huge demand for SEO.

You mean SEO services like backlinking? Unfortunately I don't know much on how to do that.

I'm looking for a method to implement over the summer, I have around 2 1/2 months and I'm going into my senior year. I just want to get something started that can give me long term passive income that doesn't involve adsense. (Doesn't have to be passive, just anything other than adsense)

Any WSO's that are good out there?
