dropshipping works if you are treat it as a real business. also you shouldn't copy what a random guy/guru on youtube says. for example fb ads are extremely saturated. there are more traffic sources than fb ads tho. sampere aude!

i did it for about 8 months straight. seasoned my pixel, custom conversions, retargetting, i did absolutely everything possible. still even on my best days i only came out with about 10-15% profits. and that was on my best days. when i did my taxes i still was in the whole about 9,000 dollars from facebook ads.
dropshipping is not a long term business system, for most.
its 2019 amazon runs the ecom world

The dropshipping I understand is when you are the intermediary between the sale of a supplier and a customer. You can earn a lot if you treat it as a real business, since in reality it is.
What you can get with the dropshipping are commissions for sales of certain products, in the end it would be selling without inventory. On several occasions you can start without investing but it would be very difficult. Only by dedicating yourself to a niche or a specific sector could you start by putting it on a web page. If you want to know more about the subject search on YouTube and Google, there you will find the answers to all your questions. Especially good luck if you dedicate yourself to this adventure

People saying it doesn't work have clearly done something wrong.
One of the most basic types of businesses there is. Think about it. Most wholesalers got an in somewhere. Like getting a great deal from the factory that doesn't do it's own marketing.
And I wouldn't say that Amazon is everything. Yeah, hard to beat shipping times, but quality wise, there's lots of trash being sold there. Fake reviews etc.
As a dropshipper you've got the chance to establish yourself as a retail brand with already tested ( hopefully ) and quality insured products.

It is simple process -
Find product online (sites like aliexpress)
Create your own website (ecommcrce) with added price on product.
Promote your website
When you got the order on your ecom site, then order that product on aliexpress (if you are using) and provide shipping address of customer you got on your site ( tell them not to add price on invoice, most of them already know this)
