How many times to post per week, is considered adequate for generating growth?

I stick with once per week on almost anything non-socialmedia.
Websites, YouTube, etc. The results have never let me down.
Social media (Instagram, Facebook) I believe works best with daily posting.

Not to discredit anyone currently posting to their website daily. So long as you can keep up with posting this often, with high quality & well researched content, it works well all the same.

The main factor is consistency. Link Building, Publishing content, Creator Outreach... These are all things which anyone can do well so long as the person sticks to it for long enough. Seriously, you can do almost whatever you want and it'll work out so long as you do it enough, and learn from the mistakes you don't get away with, taking from what works well also.
Note for posting weekly: it's sometimes good to post mid-week content to help something you posted before, or to prep for a future post.

edit: @Tipitip is right and his post is great advice

I think it depends on your niche.

For example if you have a general news website, once a week would be very low amount compare to other authority sites in that niche.

What are you posting to? Email is different from a blog, a blog is different from a website, etc. The bigger question is how often
can you as the owner comfortably post? If you aren't consistent you will lose your audience. Just don't bug them too often either.
With most things once a day is acceptable. Yes, if you are a news website you had better have people posting new stuff by the hour.
You will most likely have to hire people to do that too, or you will burn out very quickly.

Niche is in music?

Any tips for that niche?

I am posting weekly to a blog, and uploading a video to youtube weekly, and taking advice from this post will post daily to instagram

Music news comes daily. Everything from album release to artist RIP.

What are you choosing to cover, and do you have a research list of sites in this niche already and have you examined them all?

Oh no I do not write reviews, I give music theory advice, production tips, and remake songs.

I have not done any research :(, I have just started, should I just google?

you can post 10k or a single post daily, it really doesn't matter,
what does matter is the quality of content and consistency, along with a good interlinking/silo to allow crawled to find these posts easily

Take a look at what days and times they were posted and on which platforms. Make a note of any specific themes around the post. That information will help you organize and plan your posts to get the most visibility..

Research your audience. Among other things find out what are the top sites they visit. Then make a note of the type of content and the publishing frequency of each site. A good rule of thumb is try to replicate an average of the top sites publishing frequency.

It all depends, also for social media too it all depends.

The frequently with which you blog is determined by your site's end objective.

If you want to improve your traffic, you should write more frequently because this will offer search engines more chances to locate your site and send users to it.

To enhance your affiliate marketing income on your site, create more content, like as reviews and list pieces, because the more material you have, the more sales chances you'll have.

If you're writing on more in-depth topics, you'll want to publish fewer but longer-form entries that provide readers a lot of information.

See : https://louisem.com/144557/often-post-social-media
It shows you more details about how often to post on other social media platforms : 2021 success guide .

You should probably plan to publish about three blog posts per week, minimum, to make money as a blogger. It all depends on your audience, the field you’re in, and your revenue strategy . Do some testing to see if need to increase your publishing volume. You should also test other factors, like the length of your blog posts.

Hope this Helps !
