What is bitcoin limit? I need help

Hello i want to invest money in cryptocurencies and i need to know what is bitcoin limit and how many of them are found so far and can other cryptocurencies work without bitcoin? For example can i earn money with etherium without changing it on bitcoin?

1. BTC max supply and circulating supply can be found here: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

2. Yes, other cryptos are not related to BTC at all

3. Yes, you can sell ethereum directly for fiat
