Hi guys!
I have a tricky question. What is better in terms of SEO: to have 7 articles with 300 words each or one big article with 2100 words?
I have an article that speaks about 7 people but they all have something in common. Should I divide and make long tail keywords by their name for each or should I compile them in one big article? Which one of the methods do you think google appreciate the best?

Thanks for your time!

First do competitive analysis
What are posts of your competitors like?
How many words?
With rich media or not? If yes what is the media?
What other keywords you can target?(also What kws they are targeting)

I suppose this content is for your own site. So the current trend in SEO circles is to favor the so-called long form, in other words longer articles from 1k words upward to 3k and beyond. You got your answer.

I would definitely go for the 2.1k word article, with lots of pictures, graphs, videos of related media, etc.
And if that page is quality enough, and able to attract a fair amount of attention from other bloggers/people, in which they submit their comments in participation, that will slowly push your article/content up the authority ladder.

Hi, @vaduvescuv. I suggest you split-test.

I have clients who order lots of short-form articles because that works for them. They get their ROI.

I have clients who order tons of long-form content. Again, it's because it works for them.

The best way to find out which one will work for you or not is to split-test.
