Hi BHW,

I'm wondering, if I bought an very nice expiring domain (not dropped!) and I put a fancy silo structure onto it.
What would be better?

Option 1: The homepage that functions as a content hub for users that has some of the latest posts on it.

Option 2: The homepage with the most important article on it and ranking that instead of ranking seperate inner page(s)

Thanks for the help I might get :)

Oh and please explain why one would be better. Thanks :)

If you want to create a PBN for one keyword only then option A. Silo it with content on other pages with associated keywords with some links back to the root. Don't skimp on content and don't over-link and you're good to go.

Hey OP,

It depends if you are targeting multiple keywords or multiple topics mean better to use the option A.

But if you are targeting with one or two keywords only better to use the option B.

For PBN site most of the people using option A.

Well depends on the competition on your keyword you have to choose the priority between homepage and inner pages.
But my opinion is Option A is effective than Option B.

Option A use to be the obvious answer. That isn't necessarily the case anymore. Inner pages have started ranking better than homepages for most keywords.

IMO option A is better than option B

you will get good result in option A compared to option B
