What is better Aliexpress or Alibaba?

Hello guys,

I just started my online business. I saw some good suppliers on Aliexpress but saw better products with cheaper prices on Alibaba. Now I am trying to make a dropshipping deal with an Alibaba supplier. Is this a smart decision?

What is better, Aliexpress or Alibaba? And what do you use, and why?

Not much difference but I think Alibaba is more like for bulk supplies with better features. Alibaba always looks good to me.
 
Alibaba is better if you have high conversion rate on your website.
 
According to my Experience, you will choose aliexpress it's such a good conversion rate..

Alibaba majority deals with BULK PURCHASED.

And majority use Aliexpress for Dropship :cool:
 
If you want to order 1 or few pieces use aliexpress but if you want to make a bulk order then use alibaba. Always watch product/sellers reviews and better use sellers who are selling at least few years.
Fur bulk orders from alibaba always check supplier types: "trade assurance". For the first time make a small test order. It can cost you a lot more than to make a big order but if product will be in bad quality you will lose more money. Test everything and after some time you will know how everything works.
 
Aliexpress good for regular drop shipping because you can order one item at a time. Alilbaba good for Amazon FBA when you need to order in bulk. Custom labels available too. Cheaper if you order in bulk.
 
In simple words:
Alibaba is B2B (business to business)
Aliexpress is retail.

That said, most chinese companies sell on both. They will sell directly to consumers via Aliexpress and at the same time will look for wholesalers to approach them via Alibaba.

Alibaba For Bulk Purchase & Ali Express for retail product, i think it's hard to find in Alibaba who accept drop shipping because their mindset focused on Selling in bulk ! but it's good to give it try and tell us here .
 
Aliexpress is the retail 'version' of Alibaba. Alibaba is great for building a brand and ordering in large quantities, but for dropshipping you should use Aliexpress.
 
They're different. Alibaba is for sourcing wholesale for manufacturers. Aliexpress is for retail shoppers.

You can trick them into sending "samples" from their USA warehouse though. Most products you sell will only be a few sales untill you get enough to pay for wholesale.(the ones I do atlease)
 
theyre bascially the same- aliexpress is more for dropshipping
 
If you are looking to buy things in bulk, you can get better deals on alibaba. On the other hand, aliexpress is just for casually shopping (just like amazon)
