If you don't care about what happens to your site you can use an automated tool(gsa, xrumer, rankwyz etc) with poor content. You can still rank using this stuff, but you never know for how long. I've ranked anywhere from 3 days to many months using tools like this.
If you do care about your site then you could drip feed social signals with something like web2rule, and make guest posts/PBN posts very sparingly, being careful not to over optimize on your anchor text. Thats what I'd do anyway. You could get yourself in trouble doing anything though really, as soon as you start manipulating google, you are their enemy. Just my 2 cents anyway.
