So I have some items I have been selling on ebay, making a great profit on. The problem is my ebay selling limits, and the fees. I think just getting a landing page done and selling these direct to the consumer through my own site will make me a lot more money, and I obviously wont have any selling limits. Im thinking PPV is the way to go, although banner/media buys might work as well.

Anyway, what is a good program for finding lots of long tail targets? What has worked for you guys. Also if there is anyone who I can hire to go through the boring process of setting up tracking for every target hit me up, Id be happy to pay. Thanks for as always for any help you guys!

Why do you need long tails? That is the beauty of PPV. You can bid directly on the most profitable keywords. And since your niche seems to be a little obscure for mainstream PPV keywords like payday loans and auto insurance, with leadimpact you could expect to pay almost .02 cents per view maybe even .015.

    What network are you with?

One more thing I'd like to add, I usually would bid on URL targets, not keywords. Keywords get messy with PPV. You could be bidding on blue widgets and get your ad triggered when someone types in just blue or widget. With domain targets you are targeting the whole domain.

    To answer your question:
To find targets, take the top keywords of your niche. Go to google and search for the term, copy the top 20 URLS that are listed. Take out urls that are longer then the base url.com (ex: url.com/blue/widgets). and put the remaining ones into a word doc or something. Do this for as many keywords as your can come up with for your niche, also google ads, copy the urls of the adword ads too. Put your competitors urls into your word doc too. By the time your done you'll have one hell of a great list of targets.

Next setup your PPV campaign, track which targets convert and which ones don't. Eliminate the non converting targets until you have an awesome campaign. Good luck

Choosing the top keywords is the most important way to find more target.

Why is PPV better than media buys? It seems a lot more expensive..
