What is an Instagram scrape account?

I’ve heard that you need to have Instagram scrape accounts. I’ve tried to google this but I can’t find an explanation.

what are they and what role do they play in follow / unfollow strategy?

Basically it has to do with automation.... you have these dummy or throw away accounts that will scape users and what not for you and then send to your other accounts that will perform the actions. It saves your other accounts from working too hard... Hope that helps!

So if I’m understanding this correctly, a scrape account will follow 300 accounts for example and the ones who follow back will be sent to the main account to follow? So that way the main account only follows people who will follow back?

how would I automate the passing of accounts from scrape account to main account? Are there videos I could watch on how to do that?

No.... scrape would mean to gather information.... there are no actions performed during the scraping it's just a gathering or collecting of information. Then that information is sent to the accounts that will actually perform the actions... you can also split this information or scrapings to multiple accounts.
