LinkedIn has changed quite a bit over the past few years, and some strategies that used to work extremely well don't seem to produce the same results anymore. I'm curious about what people are actually seeing on the platform today.

depends on what you mean by working, linkedin pulse is still great for posting articles to promote your site/business
 
I’d try carousels or a quick personal storythose seem to be getting decent engagement latel
 
I'd focus on sharing actual experiences, small wins, mistakes and useful tips. those seem to start more conversations than generic motivational posts.
 
From my point of view, the first line is pretty important too. If you just write “5 LinkedIn tips,” it’s easy to scroll past. Something like “I tried 5 LinkedIn tactics this month only 2 worked” feels more personal and makes you curious about the rest.
 
Yeah, I agree. The hook matters a lot now. A real result or personal experience feels much more natural than generic “5 tips” type posts, and usually gets better engagement too.
 
Useful posts with a clear opinion, real examples, and good comments seem to work better than generic motivational content or constant promotion.
 
Posts that have a message appear to perform well compared to value posts.
A good hook plus a real-life experience followed by commenting on the posts seems to work for me.
 
I think useful original content is still important on LinkedIn. Posts that share practical insights personal experiences or clear lessons seem more likely to encourage meaningful discussion. Consistency also matter but quality and relevance should come first.

i have observed that posts work better when there is some element of reality in them such as an experiment, error, or a lesson. posts on 5 tips do not catch much attention anymore. it is better to have an imperfect post with at least some context nd outcome rather than a perffect one without any.
