Also talking about ethical sourcing of proxies, the other day I was configuring a chinese whitelabel laptop and I could not find one of the drivers manually. So I found this driver finder software, that claimed to be free on their site.
The fact is that the software accomplished the task (could find this weird driver that I could not find manually) but installed a million pieces of software that I did not accept explicitly (probably I did by clicking "next" after one of the 1 million TOS pages in the footnotes of each configuration screen). So if I accepted such covert TOS, technically I accepted that I was sourcing my laptop to pay for the cost of such amazing driver finder software. Is this ethical? Technically, yes
