I've come across this term many times here on BHW and I still don't quite understand what it means (Yes, I've tries Google, that didn't really help)
What is a Web 2.0 ?

It’s used to describe online platforms where you can create your own content on a sub-domain of that platform.
For example WordPress.com is a Web 2.0.
You can register a free sub domain with WordPress such as yourname.wordpress.com then you can publish content on there.
It’s effectively a website but it’s free and it’s part of a larger managed platform.
