Not what I asked. Proxies that are banned from google, are of no use in scraping urls, correct? But they can still be used to post comments? So, when I scan for proxies, should I scan them also against google, to know if they can be used in scraping urls?

Again not what I asked, what I'm asking, is that if I scan for proxies that are able to query google, can I _MARK THEM_ as "scrapebox proxies"? A simple answer, yes or no.

just save them in a text file called scrapeboxproxies.txt????
and only load these when doing what you want in SB

Scan as in loop through every proxy and check if google responds with the "automated query" page, and if not, validate as a good proxy.
I intend to scan with a tool I make.
And those should also answer the question "how".
Now, I would like to ask for the simple answer. If this is not how I should validate a scrapebox proxy, then please enlighten me how to do it. Thanks in advance.

I checked few of those that said "IP blocked", some of them worked fine on google, and only few of them didn't work at all. So perhaps the tester you are using isn't working properly? Or it just might be the lag, if your timeout is greater then the needed response time, then it might give it as invalid, but I don't get why it would show that "IP blocked". Anyway, thanks for your help.

The scrapebox proxy tester is not completely accurate, at least not from what I've seen. If you are generating proxies for a custom tool that is only using google to scrape, it makes more sense to code your tool to test proxies on its own just by validating that IP's connection to Google.
I think this is what you are really asking about.

the proxie tester i use is the one built into scrapebox
to check proxies that arnt blocked by google.
just because a proxie is blocked doesnt mean its dead
it just means the way i test them in scrapebox means
if they are blocked on google they are removed.
and considering i provide proxies for 420 subscribers on
bhw for proxies to use on google with scrapebox with
0 refunds in 22 months, i like to think i no what im doing

My point was that few of those proxies that you had as "not working/failed/blocked/whatever" actually worked.
