i keep reading about real guest posts and how some are glorified PBNs.

I am now wanting to buy some guest posts as my sites are losing rankings. I’m guessing this is due to the PBNs losing there power.

So what am I looking for to know it’s a real guest post as I don’t want to be getting ripped off money wise.

Guest posts are done on relevant and reliable good quality results. When done right it could you good results that lasts long... So do try it.. But be careful in selecting the rightful service provider...
 
A good guest post is a niche relevant blog that is receiving traffic (you can check traffic by using SEMRUSH or AHREFS)

This blog has good content (check the comments see what people are saying) and their social medias have somewhat of a following.

A guest post requires you to research authoritative websites within your niche and then outreach and pitch your idea to them. Unless you spend time developing a hook and a pitch based upon through research of their website, they’re likely to say no. They’ll be receiving other emails from SEOs, so will be wise to what you’re up to. Also, you should expect a brand link and not exact anchor.
 
Guest Posting is nothing but posting your own content on other blogs with a backlinks to your site.
 
Real = traffic, genuine following, social interactions on site like comments and genuine shares.

You want websites like that for "real" guest posts.
