What is a "money site"?

Hello,


To my understanding, a money site is a site where you have your content locker/CPA offer etc. It is a niche specific site where you have locked your content or people have to complete an offer to download whatever the site is about. For example, if the niche is "Call of Duty key generator". You make a one-page site with download link on it locked with a CPA offer. And that site is a "money site". Am I correct?


I keep reading Google likes frequently updated with fresh content websites. Google like sites rich with content. Google like sites that offer 'value' to the user etc etc. If what I wrote above about money sites is correct then all of this is not possible in about 80% of the money sites.


So how do you people rank one-page landing page money sites? Or is it not as hard as I think it is?

EDIT: Is it possible (and not very hard) to rank one-page sites where you are offering a download of a software or something like that locked with CPA?

A "money-site" doesn't always have to have an offer, or even make money. It's essentially just your 'real' site. People use this when referring to link building strategies often to differentiate the 'fake' properties created to just build links, and their real 'money' site...

It certainly is not standard to have a one-page site as your 'money site'...While SPA's (single page applications) are obviously great for CPA offers and other monetization methods, typically you don't use ranking as a method to bring traffic to those types of sites (in my experience). Money site's that would require ranking could be like a blog that has affiliate links laced throughout the content, or Adsense on it, etc...these are often frequently updated sites that have all the things you described that Google looks for. Not to mention Google is broken, so there's always that factor...

ecommerce sites,sites with advertises,with links etc....

CPA/PPD sites come under Churn and Burn sites. They are far away from Money sites.

Money sites will have long term vision.

A Money Site is a Website that you use to earn money directly.

Money site : your main website your earning is depending on..

It is basically any site where your main focus in making money....
