Hi guys,

I'm looking at CyberLink PowerDirector and Adobe Premiere Elements, are there any others?

I noticed Richman here on these forums is selling some nice templates for videos, anyone know how he made them?

Thanks!

Sorry, I'll admit, just came back over from WarriorForums and they did not have too much of what I was looking for so I asked here without even searching!

But I did just have a look now and have a couple of threads open, hopefully they're useful.

If anyone has some first hand experience though, feel free to chime in!

Sony Vegas pro is a good one.
I'm using that myself.

It's not the most advanced editing software, but it's cheap compared to others, and it's easy to learn.
Very powerfull software!

Cheers everybody.

I use Sony Vegas pro as well and love it. I do a lot of Chromakey and it does a fantastic job. It uses the same editing techniques that the big boys use and I've yet to find something that it can't do. The learning curve is steep but if you go to Youtube there are a ton of tutorials on how to use it.

If your not planning on making your vid the next Hollywood production Sony Vegas is a good choice.

I use it for promotional product and service vids and the included transisitions and effects are enough to give your vids a pro-look.

There is software with more advanced features but the question is if you will ever use/need them.
If your planning on using your vids to sell stuff, the vid should broadcast the product or service without glamorous effects distracting from the message.
