Hello beloved BH universe. It's a lovely night in New York. Barely humid.

I am looking to grab images for several purposes.

  • For certain products that I need product images for.
  • Then for some blog posts where I need images to match the particular theme of the post.
  • Some health related images
  • Some hot babes
Can anyone recommend a software that can do this for me? Whether it is by keyword or maybe grabbing images from a particular site. I'll probably figure out the better search method as I go along but an image scraper would really help.

ScrapeBox has a Google Image Grabber that works quiet well. It retrieves images by keyword. You can choose how many images per keyword, medium or large images or all sizes.

I bought Scrapebox a couple of weeks ago but haven't had the time to play with it yet. I didn't know it actually had an image grabber. That is freakin' awesome. This has got to be the best damn software on the planet for the price they charge.

I use one of this firefox addon to grab image:
- Batch image downloader
- Batchdownload
- Image fetcher

Batch image downloader:
Download all image in web page in batch. (i use this to grab product image from merchant web service)

Batchdownload:
Like flashget batch download, but special design for images site. (i seldom use this)

Image fetcher:
add save button over an image to download one by one. Image save as you expected. (i use this for manual saving)

Which of them is best for going to a specific site to grab images?

What a slap in the face. The batch image plugins aren't available for Mac users.

Batch Image downloader is a good tool. I've always using it. There are plenty of firefox addons too. Try them. You'll like it.
