Hey guys. Me and my friend is starting a view service, and I would like to ask, what do you think is a fair price for views? I would to know what you think about:
1,000 - $x
10,000 - $x
50,000 - $x
I really think undercutting prices is not a good market model because what will end up happening is your competitor will try to undercut you, then vice-versa, over and over again. Which would devalue your service and hard work and the market would just crash.
I think the better question is how much is it worth it to you to do the work for those views. Then price a little bit higher so you can provide discounts for repeat customers, specials, promos, etc. Even offer discounts to users that are already current customers of yours as a reward.
Everyone already knows who you are (at least in the YT world, and if they don't, they will soon know). So the value of your product already holds more of a premium. In other words, you don't really have to prove what you do works because you have already created so many things that have spoken for you.
With that said, keeping in mind that I am sure you built a great (and probably somewhat easy for you now) method to generate these views and it will probably not take much effort on your part. So when you consider the price, take into account your knowledge and time it took you to create your system (with the trials and errors as well).
Lastly, take into account how long this system will last before you have to figure out a new way because youtube likes to patch things up for these types of services. So if you want it to last longer, you don't want to price to high, if you want to get bulk volume now while its working, then price lower.
Hope that helps somewhat for you to figure out your prices.
