What is a good payment system to use? Non Paypal..

Anyone know any alternatives to Paypal for membership site? Any 3rd party merchants that are good? Anything else?

You can use alertpay.com. Google checkout, Amazon payments
 
I have tested alertpay and moneybookers , they are good and I can rely on them , but i have bad experience with PP as its holding my 100$ :S
 
Hi mate try 2checkout they accept paypal without you needing a pp account . You can get paid via a mastercard you can get from them . Been using them for over a year now whout any trouble unlike pp. They also take debit/credit cards.
 
I use intuit to take payments. They only charge 50cents per transaction up to $3000. Its different from paypal in that they are only a transfer service. The money gets transfered directly to your bank account. Usually takes 24 hours.

american express has their own that's better than paypal. check it out :-)
you wont have to worry about paypal taking money/freezing your account
 
Paypal still has ?600 from me, i am working with plimus sofar and it's looking good

moneybookers is pretty popular this days it getting bigger and bigger
also google checkout is good
 
2checkout is a good alternative as you can receive payments from pp, and a lot others, but u still get ur money on a prepaid card, bank, or (the other options, bad memory). Take a look

is all above mentioned company accepts downloadable products and membership recurring services?
