What is a 301 redirect???

Hi,

I've been seeing this tem a lot lately and what is a 301 redirect? Obviously it's a redirection, but how do you use it?
And most importantly, how do you implement it with scrapebox? I'm thinking about trying this.

The only way many people use it to direct traffic from there outdated domains, that don't work to thier current websites, cause they don't want to loose traffic, and their position in Google. I don't know how to implement it, but I am sure you can find it in google, or another member here might know more

A 301 redirect / Permanent redirect is a method of telling web browsers and search engines that a web page or a folder on your site or the whole site has been permanently moved to a new location. You wanna use this to get all the search engine merit from your old page/site ( backlinks and serps ) to the new one.

Usually using a htaccess or you can do it on your cpanel.

I still confused. How are people using scrapebox to benefit them with a 301 redirect? it doesn't make sense? is it because they don't want to get their main money site penalized?

yeah and to avoid their website makes their way to the spammer vault on akismet and the gang
