i thought this was a joke question as I solved it in my head while my browser was loading the page (and I suck at math!!).. until I came in and read that there were actually people getting it wrong!! This thread made my day though :p thanks OP!

So only 55% of BHW knows what's going on with their money, yet all of us are here to MAKE money.

Unfortunately, this poll doesn't surprise me. I'm used to high-level calculus, linear algebra, stats, etc. Explaining simple math (erm, simple to me) to people I know usually just ends in confusion and frustration for the other person, so I realize that most people just suck at math.

Funny thing is, most of the things we do involve math. CTR, CPC, EPC, etc. I wonder if people here actually know what these numbers and percentages mean, and if they could produce those numbers manually rather than having the computer/software do it for them.

Noobs, the rule is Numbers in brackets first then Addition and Subtraction; then Multiplication and Division. SInce 6-6*6 has no brackets we go to rule 2 and 3. 6-6 = 0 . 0*6 = 0. As for why im following this thread and googlerd sum 666 devil doodoo from 6-6*6 I think im now cursed. Good Day.

When I see questions like this, I really become blind with RAGE!
How can anyone think he is going to make money but knows absolutely nothing about math... :turtle:
And as soon as people start arguing why this could never ever be -30, I become so speechless

Well, you're wrong about there being "no brackets" since the multiplication sign is an "implied" bracket you must solve that part of the equation first. However, the real crazy thing about this is if you take the equation and formulate it as written you would actually have 6 (-6x6) which of course is -216.

There are many different debates raging about this equation and the one thing many mathematics professors have stated is that this is a poorly written equation and shouldn't even be considered valid.
 
666 X 3=183 how did i get that? simple 6 is actually 2 numbers in 1 if you take the 6 then stretch it out to make a straight line what do you get? simple you get the number 1 now if you place the 1 in-front of the 6 you get 61 so 61 X 3 you would get 183 because there are 3 sixes also if you take the 3 sixes then flip them upside down you would get 999 so 999 X 3=2997 there you have it advanced math decoded for yall now hit the thanks button and don't ask me how i now this info:D

Note: the sixes stretched out becomes straight lines or strings but since the lines or strings are single so there for they become the number 1 because you can only get 1 line from each sixes so that's how you get the number 1 etc spiritual math at it's finest:cool:
