simple. you have to calculate the multiplication 1st then the subtraction. all of us know the rule of BADMAS right?

People I was Taught BODMAS at class6 and I still remember it up to now
B(Brackets)
O(Of)
D(Division)
M(Multiplication)
A(Addition)
S(Subtraction)

Thus 6-6*6=
-6*6= -36
6-36=-30
Answer is 30

I feel sorry for the people who posted 0

THe BODMAS rule states the precedence of operators like

b for something
o for something
m for multiplication
s comes in the end for substraction

hence 6x6 = 36

6-36 = -30

LOL I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU, You USED - two times, once during multiplication and once during substraction...

But there is only 1 minus sign

so thats ans is 6-6x6 = 6-36=-30

If you want to re-arrange it would be:

-6x6 + 6 = -36 + 6 etc..

How people can be that stupid, just don't get it.
To make it easier:
6-6*6 = (-6*6)+6
- * + = - thus -6*6 = -36
-36+6 = -30

challenge - x^2=5x-6
